Solyndra solar power company shuts down 15 months after Obama visit and Energy Department stimulus!!
Full Story: www.thehalsreport.com Back in May of 2010 President Barack Obama toured a solar start-up company in Freemont, California by the name of Solyndra. He gave an address at the plant in front of the press and state officials which outlined his vision for a alternative energy sector in the US balanced by the federal government. In the speech, Obama said “The promise of clean energy isn’t just an article of faith, it’s not just some abstract possibility for science fiction movies or a distant future or 10 years down the road or 20 years, it’s happening right now. The future is here.” The Silicon Valley company was the first to receive a loan from the Energy Department’s Recovery Act, but they never received the remainder of the loan because the Energy Department postponed plans to expand the factory. So, why is this important? It’s important because only six months ago President Obama gave a speech explaining how Solyndra was the future of clean energy in America and now it’s bankrupt!

Classic example of why government should stay out of “creating jobs” and leave it to the private sector. Not only do we see yet another case in point of government WASTE of yours and mine taxpayer money, but it is plain and simply unconstitutional, just like all the other entitlement programs that were put on the backs of the American taxpayer. The government goes outside the boundaries accorded to it by our Constitution and this is the pile of stink that gets created.

WestStar is a high-end, specialty manufacturer that just opened a new facility in San Jose, Costa Rica creating many new jobs there, but not in the United States. God the guy is killing us.

Even $535 million couldn’t stave off Solyndra bankruptcy.
Obama wants hundreds of billions of dollars of more stimulus, even as Americans learn one of the many ways in which the first batch of $859 billion was squandered.
We deserve to know how and why Obama wasted our money on Solyndra.
